Range Measurement: Sensing the environment in an industrial implies range measurement. Our UMRR sensor family covers precise range measurement from 0.5m to more than 150m.
Single reflector range measurement is possible, and the intelligent software also bears the capability of reflector separation in multi-reflector situations as well as the setting of range gates, range thresholds or the like. The extraction of reflectors of interest is possible in many ways.

In the standard setup, the sensor reports range, radial speed, angle and reflection amplitude of any detected reflector. Alternatively, the sensor can trigger a signal when a specific situation is detected, e.g. when an object reaches pre-configured range thresholds.
