Area Surveillance

Area Surveillance:
The UMRR radar technology can be used for long range area surveillance. In the example below, an airfield landing strip of 800m length is equipped with 6 radars, each having a range of 200m. Any reflector - stationary or moving - can be detected, and precise position data are measured. All sensors operate in a network, a central unit (example here: PC system) remote controls all units. The advantage of the radar system is its robust function in all weather conditions. The system can also be combined with cameras.

Sensor Network:
Through its CAN interface, the communication between all sensors and the central units is established. Sensor fusion and alarm processing is located in the controller’s room.
